An album of arrangements inspired by the mbira music and the sounds of Zimbabwe.

Taking inspiration from the traditional mbira players I have learnt so much from, such as William Chitauro and the late Chartwell Dutiro, as well as the guitar music of groups like the wonderful Four Brothers, this album has pure mbira but also blends influences from my own Irish music background, as well as the sound of the countryside itself.

These tracks are intimately bound up with my own journey through the world of the mbira.
